Read Fest

A Read Fest is a very simple activity. It can be conducted at educational or professional organisations. All it takes is a few rooms, a table, and some volunteers. No money needed.

All audio content generated is added to Esha’s online audio library – from where beneficiaries can download these audio files for free for all time to come.

How easy is it, really?

1 . Finalise one or more dates. It can be one day, one weekend, once a week for one month, once a week for a quarter, or any frequency that you like.

2. Communicate about the event. It can be through posters, internal emails, social media posts, anything that works.

3. On the appointed day, set up the control center. Read the How to document to understand how to conduct the event. Follow the steps.

4. Collate the content and upload.

That’s it!

What's a good time to have a Read Fest?

Anytime is a good time to have a Read Fest.

But most of our friends have a Read Fest at:

A. Annual Day / Founders Day

B. Joy of Giving Week

C. Summer Volunteering at office

D. Diwali

E. World Disability Day – December 4rd

F. World Braille Day – January 4th.

Fantastic! How do we get this started?
